Alidor Dolfing

Alidor Dolfing is the joint pseudonym of Belgian screenwriter-directors Mark Bouwmeester and Nyk Dekeyser, who formed it in 2006 by combining the names of their ancestors. They wrote and directed Wien for Life (2014), a 24-minute Dutch-language crime comedy about two friends whose plan to steal a winning lottery ticket at a petrol station on the Flemish-Walloon border goes wrong. It starred Wim Willaert, Thomas Ryckewaert, Mieke Dobbels and Jan Hammenecker, opened in Belgian cinemas on 19 January 2015 via Dalton Distribution and won the BeTV Award at the 2015 Brussels Film Fest. Their later short Out of the Blue, Into the Black premiered at the International Short Film Festival Leuven in 2017 and was selected for the Brussels Short Film Festival in 2018.
