DJ TIESTO-Live @ Cream Amnesia Ibiza 2002

Tiësto is the stage name of Tijs Michiel Verwest, a Dutch DJ born in the city of Breda in 1969. In 1997 Tiësto and Arny Bink set up the label Black Hole Recordings. Tiësto began the In Search of Sunrise compilation series in November 1999, and the third volume came out in 2002. Cream started in Liverpool as a weekly club night run by the promoters Darren Hughes, James Barton and Andy Carroll. The weekly Cream night in Liverpool was held at the Nation club on Wolstenholme Square and kept that format from October 1992 until June 2002. Cream runs a Thursday night at Amnesia during each Ibiza summer season. Amnesia opened in 1976 near San Rafael, between Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni de Portmany. As of 2003 Amnesia was split into two spaces, the Main Room and the Terrace. Ibiza Spotlight reported in May 2006 that Tiësto no longer held the Cream residency at Amnesia and that Ferry Corsten had been named the new Cream resident.
