Episode 64
Ancient Realms
Episode 64 of Ancient Realms carries the title War, and its Mixcloud listing marks it as the show's September 2017 edition, signed by DJ Lorn. DJ Lorn created Ancient Realms as a monthly psychill and psybient show, heard on DI.FM and SoundCloud. In a 2014 interview he said the show began with a single mix made after a few years away from mixing, which he then decided to turn into a monthly event. The episode runs close to two and a half hours and carries tags for chillout, acid, psytrance, downtempo and trance. The episode opens on No Dialtone by Aphorism. Rabbit in the Moon's Deeper arrives about an hour and 22 minutes in. The last track, starting about two hours and 22 minutes in, is Teleute by One Arc Degree. Lorn told the interviewer that he dedicates each month's show to a specific place whose history carries meaning beyond bare fact.
