Richie Hawtin Boiler Room Ibiza Villa Takeovers DJ Set

In August 2013 Boiler Room streamed a live broadcast of a Richie Hawtin pool party at a villa in Ibiza, scheduled to run from 4pm until 8pm. The Richie Hawtin party was the second of the 2013 Boiler Room Ibiza villa takeovers, a run that also featured a Jamie Jones and friends show and a Carl Cox and friends party. Richie Hawtin's 2013 Boiler Room villa session was presented as an ENTER. pool party, with Nina Kraviz, Azari & III and Grimes also playing before Hawtin closed the day. Ibiza Spotlight later recalled Richie Hawtin's 2013 Boiler Room villa event as an ENTER. pool party kitted out with slip and slide runs and inflatable animals. ENTER. was Richie Hawtin's Thursday night concept at Space Ibiza, and its 2013 season opened on 4 July and ran until a closing party on 26 September. Richie Hawtin was born in Banbury in 1970, grew up near Windsor in Ontario, cofounded the Plus 8 label with John Acquaviva and launched M-nus in 1998. Richie Hawtin took on the Plastikman alias in 1993, issuing the single Spastik and the album Sheet One under that name. About twenty five minutes into Richie Hawtin's 2013 Boiler Room Ibiza villa set, Marc Houle's Techno Vocals comes into the mix. About forty eight minutes into Richie Hawtin's 2013 Boiler Room Ibiza villa set, Bananarama's Cruel Summer comes in. About seventy one minutes into Richie Hawtin's 2013 Boiler Room Ibiza villa set, Baby Wants To Ride by Frankie Knuckles and Jamie Principle appears. Gray Area included the 2013 Richie Hawtin and friends ENTER. pool party in its retrospective of Boiler Room sessions filmed in Ibiza.
