Metrik @ Hospitality In The Dock (Tobacco Dock/London)

Metrik was billed for the Great Gallery at Hospitality in the Dock, an all day Hospitality takeover of Tobacco Dock in London on Friday 14 April. Hospital Records staged Hospitality in the Dock in April 2017 in a Grade I listed London building, following the success of its Hospitality in the Park festival in 2016. Hospital Records was founded in 1996 by Tony Colman, who records as London Elektricity, together with Chris Goss. Tobacco Dock, a warehouse in Wapping in the borough of Tower Hamlets with Grade I listing, was completed in 1812 to store imported tobacco. Metrik is the stage name of Thomas Mundell, a London electronic music producer born on 27 December 1986 who has put out records since 2007. Metrik released The Departure EP in 2010 and Between Worlds EP in 2011 through Viper Recordings, then signed an exclusive deal with Hospital Records in November 2012. Metrik's debut album Universal Language came out on Hospital Records on 29 September 2014, and his second album Life/Thrills followed on 7 October 2016.
