Priku Boiler Room Bucharest x Interval DJ Set

Priku played for Boiler Room in Bucharest on 6 July 2016, at a party that ran from day into night and was staged together with the Romanian series Interval. Alongside Priku, the Boiler Room Bucharest bill of July 2016 featured the live act Premiesku plus Melodie, Herodot and Miss I. Boiler Room introduced Priku on its Bucharest event page through his connection to the Arpiar label. After its July 2016 show with Interval in Bucharest, Boiler Room came back to Romania on 10 September 2016 for a session inside a fourteenth century Transylvanian citadel. Adrian Niculae, known as Priku, joined the Sunrise booking roster in 2007. Priku issued the Bobohalma EP on the a:rpia:r label in 2012, and a year later Adrian Niculae set up his own imprint, Motif. Under his given name, Adrian Niculae put out the Atipic 001 EP in February 2016. XLR8R has noted that Priku stands apart from many Romanian peers, who mostly stay in Bucharest clubs, by touring regularly while keeping a low media profile.
