Wade @ Brunch Electronik 2024 (Barcelona, Spain)

Brunch Electronik's 2024 Barcelona summer run at Parc de la Trinitat spanned four weekends, from Sunday 30 June to Sunday 21 July. The session on Sunday 7 July 2024 was billed under the names of Wade, Sosa, Miguel Bastida and Patricia Mantovani. Ràdio Trinijove noted that the series had been held in the Trinitat Vella neighbourhood in each of the previous three years. Wade, whose birth name is Juan Carlos Cruz Lopez, grew up modestly in the rural south of Spain. He grew up listening to flamenco and still works traditional Spanish instruments into his productions, as in the horn sample on Mi Amor, his track with Cloonee. He started Criterio in 2020 as an event brand with a sold-out all night long show at Fabrik Madrid, and a year later partnered with Universal Music to make it a full label. His releases have appeared on labels including Black Book, Relief, Snatch!, Sola and Armada Subjekt, and he has remixed David Guetta.
