MoBlack at GIZA Pyramids for Zamna

Zamna made its Egypt debut at the Great Pyramids of Giza on 25 and 26 April 2025, with Techno and Chill and iEvents organising. The Zamna Giza bill placed MoBlack alongside CamelPhat, Argy, Korolova and a Mahmut Orhan b2b Shimza pairing. MoBlack is the project of the Naples DJ Mimmo Falcone, who moved to Ghana in 2003 to manage a food processing company. MoBlack Records concentrates on deep Afro house, while its sub-label Afro Zone handles Afro jazz. The first MoBlack release was We Run The Music, issued in October 2012 by the Italian digital label Jambalay. Straight after the intro, the MoBlack Giza set moves into Sweet Reminder by MoBlack with Gruwski and LevyM, under a minute into the recording. Roughly an hour into the Giza recording comes Ngeke feat. Toshi, credited to MoBlack, Armonica and the Zamna Sounsystem. About seventy minutes in, MoBlack plays Yamore ft. Franc Fala, Cesária Evora, a track credited to MoBlack, Salif Keita and Benja. Another Love by Tom Odell arrives about eighty minutes into the MoBlack Giza set, the row just before the closing thank-you.
