Tita Lau LIVE @ Get Closer, 338 London, UK Tech House / House / Techno

Tita Lau played this live set at Get Closer at 338 in London, and the recording was published on 10 August 2023. James Hype's Get Closer series puts the decks in the centre of the room rather than on a stage, bans phones, and lists Studio 338 in London among its past editions. Studio 338 is a large club on London's Greenwich Peninsula whose covered terrace runs through the night. Tita Lau grew up in Bristol and sang on records by other artists, Patrick Topping's Turbo Time among them, before the 2020 lockdown pushed her into producing her own tracks. Disconnected, a collaboration between Tita Lau and James Hype on Sonny Fodera's label SOLOTOKO, reached the summit of Beatport's overall chart in January 2022. Tita Lau's artist profile at UNVRS lists releases on Stereohype, Solotoko, Spinnin and Armada. James Hype and fellow DJ and producer Tita Lau became engaged in August 2023. Tita Lau released the Get Closer set from 338 on her own SoundCloud account as a live London recording, so the night is documented by the artist herself.
