Herodot Boiler Room Bucharest x Interval DJ Set

Herodot played at Boiler Room's Bucharest session presented with Interval on 6 July 2016. The Boiler Room Bucharest bill with Interval in July 2016 put Herodot alongside Premiesku, Priku, Melodie and Miss I. Boiler Room framed the five Romanian artists on its July 2016 Bucharest bill as a newer generation from the country's scene, playing across an extended party that ran from day into night. Resident Advisor's RA.493 podcast page from November 2015 presents Herodot as a Bucharest DJ with around ten years in the city's clubs, taking both warm-up and occasional headline slots. Herodot started the Unanim label together with Piticu, according to Resident Advisor's page for its podcast RA.493. Resident Advisor's RA.493 page notes that Herodot had been booked at Sunwaves since its second or third edition. XLR8R counted Herodot among a later wave of Romanian artists, next to names such as Priku and Barac, that came after Raresh, Rhadoo and Petre. XLR8R reported in 2018 that Herodot also works as a sound engineer and promoter and had joined the London outfit Toi Toi Musik. Boiler Room's listing for its Transylvania event in September 2016 refers back to the July show with Interval as its first in Romania.
