Shimza DJ Set - Miller Mix: Johannesburg | @beatport live

Shimza plays this set at the Johannesburg edition of the Miller Mix, which Beatport staged with Miller at Old Park Station in the downtown part of the city. The Johannesburg night was one stop on the Miller Mix World Tour, a 2024 run of electronic music events across six countries. Beatport billed Shimza as the headliner, with Sun El Musician, Shamiso, Scorpion Kings, Oscar MBO, Mörda and DBN Gogo also on the lineup. A producer contest built around the Miller Mix sound pack was won by TEE EYE AM, who was given the opening slot before Shimza on 7 December. HYPE Magazine reported that Bongani Mohosana, who performs as MÖRDA, was the Miller Genuine Draft ambassador mentoring the contest winner. Old Park Station dates from 1896 and was designed by Jacob Frederik Klinkhamer, a railway engineer and architect from the Netherlands.
