Acid Pauli & Nico Stojan - Live @ Burning Man, 2017 (Robot Heart 10th Anniversary)

The Robot Heart camp marked its tenth anniversary at Burning Man in August 2017. For that anniversary Behrouz recalled being invited to play the bus a decade earlier, when it kept breaking down. Acid Pauli is one of the names of Martin Gretschmann, who also records as Console and runs the label Ouïe with Nico Stojan. Gretschmann released his first music as Console in 1995 and stayed a member of The Notwist, handling the band's electronics, until 2015. Clown & Sunset issued his first Acid Pauli album, Mst, in summer 2012. He and Nico Stojan started Ouïe in 2016, and his second Acid Pauli album, BLD, followed in spring 2017. Forced Exposure's notes on BLD tie his reputation to sets at places such as Bar 25 and Fusion. Nico Stojan appeared on the Bar25 label by 2010, sharing the Hummerballet record with Britta Arnold and Philip Bader. In 2020 Beatport named Acid Pauli among the artists it consulted before creating its Organic House/Downtempo genre.
