Charlotte de Witte at Tomorrowland Belgium 2025 (Main Stage Closing)

Charlotte de Witte

DJ profile: Charlotte de Witte

Charlotte de Witte played this closing set on Saturday 19 July 2025, the same day she had opened the Tomorrowland main stage at noon. That made her the first artist to open and close the festival's main stage on one day. Three days earlier, on 16 July, a fire had almost entirely destroyed the original main stage, and nobody was hurt. The organisers built a replacement in about two days, in time for the opening on 18 July. Born in Ghent in 1992, she first played as Raving George, dropped the alias in 2015 and launched her KNTXT label in 2019. Her history with that stage began in 2011, when a Studio Brussel DJ contest won her the slot to open it, and in 2022 she became the first woman playing techno to close it. She opens with her own acid version of Enrico Sangiuliano's The Techno Code. Near the end, Marie Vaunt's That Acid and Joey Risdon's Acid Kicks In run one after the other. The set closes on Calling For Peace by Electric Universe and Faders.
