PIV - Kolter & PRUNK Live From ETQ Store Amsterdam (Episode #2) - Defected Broadcasting House Show

Prunk is the Amsterdam DJ and producer Nilz Pronk, who started out as a teenager throwing underground deep house parties. Prunk founded PIV in Amsterdam in 2015, basing its house sound on New York and Chicago records from the 1980s and 1990s. Beat Magazine lists Tomorrowland and Defected Croatia among the events where PIV has appeared. Gray Area names DJOKO, Chris Stussy and Toman among the early PIV artists, and lists Kolter on the bill of the label's ten year festival at Noorderlicht in Amsterdam. ETQ is an Amsterdam shoe and fashion brand whose first physical store sits at Singel 459, across from the city's flower market. Defected announced Defected Broadcasting House in February 2022 as a round-the-clock channel on YouTube, Facebook and Twitch, with an official start on 4 March 2022. Music Week reported that Defected's head of media Tom Coxhead and A&R Sarah Beaumont, who had recently joined from BBC Radio 1Xtra, led the Broadcasting House project. Prunk was one of the guest artists named in Defected's launch announcement for Broadcasting House, alongside Purple Disco Machine and Jitwam.
