A.M.C - Digging Deep Liquid Special @ Liquicity Festival 2023

A.M.C was on the bill at Liquicity Festival 2023, which ran from 21 to 23 July 2023 in Noord-Scharwoude in the Netherlands. The Liquicity Festival 2023 lineup also included Pendulum, Andy C, DJ Fresh, Maduk and Friction. Liquicity Festival concentrates on liquid drum and bass, and Liquicity itself started as a club night before growing into an international brand with events across Europe. Liquicity began as a YouTube channel that Maris Goudzwaard set up in 2008 and now also operates as a Dutch record label and events promoter devoted to liquid drum and bass. Liquicity Festival first ran as a full day event in the Diemen forest near Amsterdam on 26 July 2015, and the 2017 edition in Noord-Scharwoude was the first to stretch across a whole weekend. A.M.C, whose real name is Alex Mark Calvert, is a drum and bass DJ and producer known for mixing on four decks, and he runs the label Titan Records. A.M.C hosts a club series called Energy at fabric in London and also released an album titled Energy. At the 2019 Drum&BassArena Awards, A.M.C became the first person other than Andy C to take the DJ of the year prize. The Drum&BassArena Awards 2023 handed A.M.C the DJ of the year prize for a fifth consecutive time.
