Dixon Boiler Room x Dekmantel x IR DJ Set

Dixon played the Boiler Room Dekmantel x IR broadcast at El Monasterio in Barcelona's Poble Espanyol on Sunday 21 June 2015, a seven hour show staged with Dekmantel Festival and IR BCN. Boiler Room's Dekmantel x IR bill in Barcelona in June 2015 also included Ben UFO, Makam, Sassy J, Solar and the IR residents Moreon & Baffa. Dixon is the stage name of Steffen Berkhahn, a German house and techno DJ born in Anklam in 1975. In 2005 Dixon set up the Berlin label Innervisions together with Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann of Âme. Dixon's Berlin residencies at WMF, Tresor and later Weekend Club were built around long sets, and he made his name there as a deep house DJ. MixesDB lists the Dixon set from Boiler Room's Dekmantel x IR day in Barcelona at one hour twenty nine minutes, opening with Mimoun Marhaba by Maalem Mahmoud Guinia and Floating Points and ending on Acamar by Frankey & Sandrino. Dixon headed Resident Advisor's annual DJ poll every year from 2013 until the poll's final edition in 2016.
