Karenn Boiler Room London Live Set

Karenn is the duo of Blawan and Pariah, who met through DJing and releasing records on R&S Records and formed the project in 2011. Blawan is the alias of Jamie Roberts from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and his Wikipedia entry calls Karenn a hardware-only project with Pariah. After forming, Karenn started their own label, Works The Long Nights. The A-side of Music Sounds Better With Shoe, a 12 inch issued by Voam in 2020, was first heard in Karenn's 2014 Boiler Room set. In 2019, after five years apart, Karenn returned with the Kind Of Green EP, released on Voam, a label they had just started. Grapefruit Regret, the 2019 debut album by Karenn, was written in Berlin and has eight tracks. Blawan's single Getting Me Down came out in 2011, and his album Wet Will Always Dry followed on Ternesc in 2018.
