Gentlemens Club: Wheels Of Steel 019 (LIVE FROM TOKYO)
Gentlemens Club
Coffi, Soloman and 50 Carrot each worked as solo dubstep artists before joining forces as Gentlemens Club, according to the trio's Red Light Management biography. Dancing Astronaut reported in March 2018 that Gentlemens Club had a collaboration with the Israeli producer Borgore and had remixed tracks for Zomboy and MUST DIE! The Deadbeats artist page says Gentlemens Club began as a strictly dubstep act and has since toured 14 countries across Asia, Australia, Europe and both North and South America. In 2019 Gentlemens Club supported 12th Planet on the Swamplex tour of North America and went on to launch a first headline tour of China, per Deadbeats. Asked by UKF how being a trio helped them through lockdown, 50 Carrot of Gentlemens Club said the Wheels Of Steel shows kept the group busy and in contact with fans. Gentlemens Club opened the Club Friendly label with the UK garage style track 1999, which UKF framed as an outlet for experiments beyond the dubstep and riddim the trio first became known for. Red Light Management lists festival appearances by Gentlemens Club at EDC Las Vegas, Shambhala and Reading and Leeds. A Ticket Fairy article dated 6 December 2024 covered GOOD 4 U, a single pairing Gentlemens Club with the UK garage artist MPH on the Deadbeats imprint of Zeds Dead. Red Light Management names 2024 as a milestone year for Gentlemens Club and counts among its highlights the trio taking the online Wheels Of Steel mix series to Tokyo.
