DAMIAN LAZARUS at CRSSD Fest Spring 2016

Damian Lazarus joined the bill in the second lineup phase, announced on 2 February 2016 with Jon Hopkins, Lane 8, Rezz and Cirez D, the dark techno alias of Eric Prydz. Mixmag's photo report notes that Tale of Us withdrew as headliners at the last minute and Maceo Plex took their place. Mixmag filmed five sets that weekend, from Lazarus, Tiga, Hot Since 82, Jeremy Olander, and J.Phlip going back to back with Ardalan. Mixmag described that spring weekend as the first big festival weekend of the year in the United States. MixesDB dates the Lazarus set to 5 March 2016, lists it at one hour 59 minutes and files it under minimal and deep tech house. Its partial tracklist opens with Turya by Audiojack and, at about 97 minutes, reaches Trouble At Seance by Damian Lazarus and The Ancient Moons.
