Solomun at Chambord x Cercle Festival 2019 in France

Solomun played the Château de Chambord in France in May 2019, at the first festival Cercle put on, with Stephan Bodzin, Polo & Pan and Bon Entendeur also booked. Cercle Festival 2019 was staged at the Château de Chambord on 11 May 2019 to mark five hundred years of the château. Solomun, born in Travnik in 1975 and raised in Hamburg, started the Diynamic label with Adriano Trolio in late 2005. In December 2020 Solomun announced the album Nobody Is Not Loved, whose tracklist includes Take Control featuring Anne Clark and The Center Will Not Hold. About seventy minutes into the Chambord set, Solomun plays Take Control, his collaboration with Anne Clark. About one hundred and three minutes into the Chambord set, Solomun plays his own remix of Nude by Adriatique. Dancing Astronaut wrote in October 2019 that Solomun reworked Nude, the title track of the Adriatique album on Afterlife, at half time. The Chambord set closes about one hundred and sixteen minutes in with The Center Will Not Hold, a Solomun production. Solomun's Chambord performance comes from the first festival Cercle ever organised, timed to the château's five hundredth anniversary.
