HUGEL Live DJ set | @surfclubdubai x @beatport live

Beatport published this HUGEL set from Surf Club Dubai on 7 March 2025 under its Beatport Live banner. Surf Club Dubai sits on the West Beach of Palm Jumeirah and pairs dining with electronic music. Beatportal lists two Beatport Live sets filmed at Surf Club Dubai, one by HUGEL and one by Darmon. HUGEL is the stage name of Florent Hugel, born in Marseille in 1987, who began DJing there at sixteen. HUGEL's 2018 remix of Bella Ciao by El Profesor became a summer hit in Germany and went platinum in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Morenita, HUGEL's 2021 single with Cumbiafrica, is credited with helping to popularise Latin house. HUGEL was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2024 Electronic Dance Music Awards. In March 2025 HUGEL announced Make The Girls Dance, his first residency at Hï Ibiza, for that summer, built on Latin house and underground house.
