CAIIRO Afro House Set Live From DESCENDANTS New York

Caiiro's set from DESCENDANTS in New York was published on 18 March 2023. Sowetan described Caiiro as an underground afro house DJ whose sound draws on African rhythms and other cultures. Before his breakthrough, Caiiro struggled to get signed and shared his tracks online until DJs he knew started playing them, Sowetan wrote. Caiiro credited Black Coffee and Shimza with helping his music reach a global market, according to Sowetan. Caiiro's single Fela and his album Agora earned gold and platinum plaques, Sowetan reported. Ndisize, Caiiro's collaboration with Ami Faku, was in contention for song of the year at the Metro FM awards, according to Sowetan. By July 2022 Mixmag was citing Pyramids, a twenty-two track record, as part of Caiiro's recent production work.
