Chicane presents Sun:Sets 466

Chicane is the professional name of Nicholas Bracegirdle, born on 28 February 1971, whose origin Wikipedia gives as Chalfont St Giles in England. The first Chicane single, Offshore, came out in 1996. Far from the Maddening Crowds, the debut Chicane studio album, was released in September 1997. Saltwater, a 1999 Chicane record, was built around vocals by Máire Brennan of Clannad. Nicholas Bracegirdle founded Modena Records, which owns the rights to all of the Chicane songs. Chicane used the weekly Sun:Sets podcast in 2018 to make the announcement of his seventh studio album. Chicane also released Sun:Sets mix compilations, Sun:Sets 2018 and a follow-up in 2019. The Chicane website states that Sun:Sets is syndicated on more than 70 radio stations, and that a companion podcast, After Sun:Sets, is co-hosted by Nick Chicane and Diamond John. Puredance lists Chicane presents Sun:Sets as a weekly show built from downtempo, ambient, progressive house and chilled electronica.
