Mira - Mayan Warrior x Robot Heart Link Up - Burning Man 2019

The 2019 edition of Burning Man, themed Metamorphoses, was held on the Black Rock Desert. Mayan Warrior and Robot Heart joined forces for a tie-up at Burning Man 2019, and Sainte Vie’s agency lists his live set from it among his career milestones. Founded by Pablo González Vargas, Mayan Warrior first appeared at Burning Man in 2012 and later toured as a travelling venue based in Mexico City. The art car was built on a stripped and rebuilt International 4400 truck, with its cab turned into the head of a supernatural Mayan figure. Robot Heart started in 2008 around a 1972 English double-decker bus converted for the playa. Mira was born in East Germany and began DJing in 1996 in the underground techno scene around Leipzig and Halle. She moved to Berlin in 2006 and found a home at Bar25 and later at Kater Blau. Each December she hosts a three day birthday event in Berlin, Katzen Tanzen auf’m Tisch, which anchors her residencies. She curates the Kiosk I.D. label and often works with Christopher Schwarzwälder, both in the studio and in back to back sets.
