Britta Arnold DJ set - ReConnect: Organic House | Koh Phangan | @Beatport Live

Beatport added Organic House/Downtempo to its store as a new genre in June 2020, after taking feedback from artists that included Britta Arnold and Oliver Koletzki. To mark the new category, Beatport staged a twelve hour ReConnect livestream on Friday 17 July 2020, carried on its homepage, on Beatportal and on Twitch. Britta Arnold took the 9 pm CEST slot, the fifth set of the evening, in a schedule that ran from 5 pm through to a final set at 4 am. Beatport said the stream would draw on artists playing from Indonesia, Germany, Morocco, Thailand and the United States. Arnold, born in 1984 and raised in the eastern half of Berlin, played her first live act at Bar25 in the summer of 2006 and then spent three years managing the club's label. In Berlin she hosts her GRRR Mit BRRR nights at Kater Blau, and her releases include records on Katermukke, Kindish, Harthouse and Heinz. About twenty one minutes in comes Natural Striptease, credited to Britta Unders. At the 24 minute mark she plays Beeast, a collaboration between DJ Lion, Britta Arnold and Just Julien. The final listed track, a little over an hour and seven minutes in, is Trentemoller's remix of State Trooper by Bruce Springsteen.
