The mysterious Hyenah with a powerful afro house set in The Lab Johannesburg

Mixmag announced on 26 July 2019 that Hyenah and Argento Dust would play The Lab Johannesburg on Wednesday 31 July, presenting both as Durban artists. Mixmag and BUDX had launched The Lab Johannesburg on Wednesday 15 May 2019 with Seth Troxler, Da Capo and DJ Buhle. Mixmag's video notes say the session was filmed at Shine Studios in Braamfontein, a venue that looks out over the Nelson Mandela Bridge. The same notes promise further Lab Johannesburg sets from Black Motion, Jonas Rathsman, Cassy, Ryan Murgatroyd and Trancemicsoul. Argento Dust, the other artist booked that night, took to house music in 2010 after joining The House Junkies collective. Hyenah has put out tracks and remixes on labels including Freerange, Objektivity and Drumpoet Community.
