ARTBAT - Essential Mix 2023 BBC Radio 1

ARTBAT, the Kyiv duo of Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy Limarenko, recorded a mix for BBC Radio 1 on 11 November 2023. Since October 1993, Pete Tong has presented BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix, in which a different artist each week is given two hours for their mix. ARTBAT formed in 2014 after Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy Limarenko crossed paths at a club in Ukraine, and the track Mandrake gave the duo an early breakthrough. ARTBAT put out uplift on Solomun's Diynamic label in 2017 and started the duo's own imprint, Upperground, in 2021 with the single Flame. In July 2019 EDMTunes reported ARTBAT's debut on the Radio 1 mix show presented by Pete Tong.
