Bio
Bruno Pavić was born on March 30, 1988, in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Split, where he studied Film and Video, and obtained his master’s degree at the same academy, at the Department of Film, Media Arts and Animation. He creates fiction, documentary and experimental films, as well as video art. His short and feature films have been screened at international film festivals, and his award-winning hybrid documentary Landscape Zero (2020), which premiered at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival, was named the best Croatian documentary film of 2021 by film critics. He has participated in international festivals such as Ji.hlava IDFF, Fribourg IFF, Astra Film Festival, Panorama Internacional Coisa de Cinema, Aegean Film Festival, the International Film Festival of Uruguay, and Cinema Vérité – Iran International Documentary Film Festival, among others. With his experimental films and video works, he has participated in international group exhibitions and video art festivals. He is also engaged in curatorial work in the field of video art.
