Notion, UKF On Air x Notion (DJ Set), uploaded 2018-12-07 on the official UKF On Air YouTube channel. A full-length UK Garage DJ set with the DJ Sets format tag in the VideoJam catalog. Performance date follows the title when stated; otherwise only the publish date is verified on this pass.
UK garage emerged from London's mid-1990s club scene as a faster, bassier reworking of American garage house, blending jungle, R&B, and dancehall influences at around 130 BPM. Its 2-step variant, with a syncopated kick-on-1-and-offbeat-3 pattern, became the defining sound, championed by DJ EZ on Rinse FM. UK garage DJ sets: swung two-step shuffle, chopped vocals and sub-bass warmth.

What is UK garage?
UK garage (UKG) is the swung, two-step end of UK dance music: shuffled drums, chopped vocals, and sub-bass warmth. It grew from 90s pirate radio and is in full revival through artists like Interplanetary Criminal and Sammy Virji.
Where can I watch full UK garage DJ sets?
Videojam curates long-form UK garage sets from Boiler Room, Keep Hush, UKF and vinyl-only sessions, playable continuously in one lane.
Is UK garage the same as 2-step?
2-step is the skippy, broken-beat style within UK garage; 4x4 garage keeps a straighter kick. Both live under the UKG umbrella and both show up in the sets curated here.

Listeners often cross into EDM from here: same dancefloor energy, different emphasis. Artful Dodger and Craig David's "Re-Rewind" (1999), MJ Cole's "Sincere", and So Solid Crew's "21 Seconds" (2001) carried it to the UK charts before it splintered into grime and dubstep around 2002. For long-form listening, the UK Garage DJ Sets hub runs continuous mixes built for the room rather than the single track.
