Disclosure DJ set in The Lab LDN

Disclosure, the brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence, played the Mixmag Lab in London in 2012, before the pair rose to wide fame. FACT Magazine's May 2012 post on the Disclosure DJ Lab set singled out the duo's remix of Jessie Ware's Running and pointed to their new single Boiling. Disclosure's Howard and Guy Lawrence grew up in Reigate, Surrey, and put out their first single, Offline Dexterity, in 2010. Disclosure released Latch with Sam Smith in October 2012, and the duo's debut album Settle followed on PMR Records on 3 June 2013. Looking back in 2021, Mixmag characterised the Disclosure Lab mix from 2012 as a run of loungey house picks built on heavy basslines. About forty four minutes into the Mixmag Lab set, Disclosure played the duo's own remix of Artful Dodger's Please Don't Turn Me On. Around fifty one minutes in, the Disclosure Mixmag Lab set reached the duo's remix of Jessie Ware's Running. Disclosure closed the Mixmag Lab set about seventy four minutes in with the Jay Dee remix of D'Angelo's Me and Those Dreamin' Eyes of Mine. In July 2021 Mixmag chose the Disclosure Lab set from 2012 for a playlist of past Lab sessions, curated with Apple Music to mark the Lab reopening, and noted that listeners still return to the mix.
