Ben Sims B2B Oscar Mulero - Stone Techno Festival 2022 - @ARTE Concert

ARTE Concert recorded this on 10 July 2022 at the Stone Techno Festival in Essen and first aired it on 28 July. It was the festival's first edition, staged by The Third Room and the Ruhr Museum at Zollverein, a former coal mine with UNESCO World Heritage status, after two years of pandemic delay. ARTE's notes credit Ben Sims, from Britain, with about 25 years of DJing, remixes made together with Kevin Saunderson, Robert Hood and Jeff Mills, and sets on three to five decks at once. They describe Oscar Mulero as a Spanish DJ whose influence on electronic music in Spain was decisive from the early 1990s. The full recording runs just under four hours. Mulero plays alone first, and Ben Sims takes over at fifty two minutes. The back to back itself, listed as Ben Sims B2B Oscar Mulero, starts at one hour fifty and runs to the end. It keeps both solo sets and the shared one together in a single recording.
