Electro house is a subgenre of house music with stylistic origins in the mid to late 1990s.[1] It is characterized by heavy bass and a tempo around 125 to 135 beats per minute.[2] That bass usually takes the form of buzzing basslines rather than the warmer low end of classic house.[3]
