Videojam Fest 2026: the Official Selection

The Official Selection for Videojam Fest 2026 is seven selections, eight films. Rattling and BackToUs by Gracia Ester Dumančić are one double-bill selection. Count: four short films in three selections, plus four music videos. Awards are judged per film. Total runtime 1:06:11. They screen in Vienna on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Pickwicks, doors 19:00. 1. Aquaballet for Diatomée

2. Samba Infinito

The longest short in the block. Fifteen minutes is enough room for a narrative to earn its ending. It anchors the short-film half of the night: patience, not a stack of trailers.

3. Rattling

An Austrian short that turns the room toward lived detail: a student day shaped by noise, time pressure, criticism, and a condition many people fail to see, especially in women. ADHD is named in the FilmFreeway synopsis; the film holds that condition as structure, not a label stuck on after the fact. Paired with BackToUs as one double-bill selection.

4. BackToUs

Lola and Mia negotiate friendship and competition under patriarchal pressure; male validation becomes the wedge between them. 5. Bushtail Bandit

A United Kingdom animation short that resets the room after two long dramas: a man, a bird feeder, and a squirrel that will not quit. Comedy and craft in under four minutes, without shrinking the programme's seriousness.

7. Invitation to the Dance of Death
