Tech-house lives or dies on the groove, so this collection keeps the sets people still cue up years later. No hype cycles, no rediscoveries, just the rooms that never emptied.

Chris Lake in Mixmag's The Lab LA in November 2015, streamed from Mixmag's downtown Los Angeles office for its weekly after-work session. Mixmag's preview noted his move toward a more tech-oriented, highly danceable house sound, and these two hours are that turn on camera. Two years later he launched Black Book Records.
CamelPhat at CRSSD Festival on the San Diego waterfront, March 2018, filmed by Mixmag. The Liverpool duo came to it weeks after Cola, their record with Elderbrook, was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 60th Grammys. Fifty-five minutes of the pair in the year Panic Room gave them a UK top forty hit.
Dennis Cruz at Input in Barcelona in January 2020, filmed by Radio Intense. The Madrid-born DJ plays tech-house with funk, dub and Latin influences, and this recording passed a million views on Radio Intense's channel. Ninety minutes of a Barcelona club night, captured as it happened.
Jamie Jones for Cercle at the Pliva Waterfalls in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina, filmed in May 2022. The Welsh head of Hot Creations, whose Paradise party ran at DC10 in Ibiza for eight seasons from 2012, plays nearly two hours beside the falls. Cercle Records released Pliva, his track with AMÉMÉ named for the place. Tech-house given the scale of a landscape.

Dom Dolla's Selected Sessions set from a Belgrade rooftop in November 2022, ninety minutes filmed by the Selected label. The published tracklist includes Rhyme Dust, his record with MK, three months before its February 2023 release; it went on to win an ARIA Award. The Australian producer at full stride, playing the next year's big record early.

Chris Stussy at Boiler Room Edinburgh on 19 May 2024, the first Boiler Room of his career, at the World Tour stop at Warehouse '92. The Dutch DJ, who founded his label Up The Stuss in 2020, plays seventy-five minutes in front of the Boiler Room camera for the first time. A debut that plays like a statement of intent.
Hot Since 82 at ENTER at Space in Ibiza, July 2015: the full three-hour recording BBC Radio 1 broadcast as his second Essential Mix. The South Yorkshire producer had launched Knee Deep In Sound the year before, and in 2015 he shared the DJ Awards title for Best Tech House DJ with Luciano. Space closed the following year. Three hours of tech-house from a club that no longer exists, kept whole.
PAWSA at the opening party of Solid Grooves Motel at DC-10 in Ibiza, 2022, the first summer the party held its weekly residency there after its old home, Privilege, stopped opening. He co-founded Solid Grooves with Michael Bibi in 2015, and DJ Mag had called him an architect of the current UK tech-house sound. Ninety minutes from the night the party moved house, published on his own channel.
Michael Bibi at One Life in Finsbury Park, London, on 6 July 2024, after his treatment for CNS lymphoma, in a show billed as London's biggest ever electronic event. The Solid Grooves co-founder, named Best Tech House DJ at the 2019 DJ Awards, plays three and a half hours, and the DJ Awards later gave the One Life campaign its Play It Back award. Part of the proceeds went to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Green Velvet and Claude VonStroke as Get Real at Far Away Festival in Lima, Peru, in 2022, three hours published by the festival. Green Velvet started Relief Records in Chicago in 1993; VonStroke founded Dirtybird in 2005, and the two formed Get Real in 2014. The next year VonStroke put his alias on hold to make bass music as Barclay Crenshaw. Two label founders sharing one booth for three hours.
